 KEN WHITING
Through the 90's, Ken became one of the most recognized and respected whitewater athletes in the world and was recognized so by Paddler Magazine in 2000 as one of their "Paddlers of the Century." Ken was the 1997/98 World Freestyle Kayaking Champion, the 1998 Japan Open Champion, and a 5-time Canadian champion. Since 1998, Ken has written and produced a best-selling and award-winning series of instructional books and videos, which include his most recent book 'The Ultimate Guide to Whitewater Kayaking' and his most recent video 'Playboating with Ken Whiting '. Ken also was a partner in the development of the world renowned Liquid Skills Kayak School in Canada (www.liquidskills.com), and its sister adventure travel company, Kayak Futaleufu, which runs kayaking trips to Chile during the winter months (www.kayakfu.com). In 2002, Ken retired from competition, stepped back from the management of Liquid Skills, and became the President of The Heliconia Press.

 TYLER CURTIS - General Manager
A major contender at next year's World Championships in Austria, Tyler Curtis ia a 5 time Canadian Champion and has dominated most competitions since. A native of the banks of the Ottawa River, he has been teaching kayaking for years and is an SRT Instructor. Tyler is one of the founders of the Liquid Skills instructional program and currently tours the World teaching on his much-praised Freeboat Tour.In 2005 Tyler litterally wrote the book on the Futaleufu, publishing the much praised Futaleufu Guidebook... buy it here!

 KEVIN VARETTE
Kevin, spent his competitive years as a top-ranked athlete whose energy is now being directed towards developing high-level athletes and the sport of Freestyle. He was the coach of the Canadian Jr Team for the 2001 World's, the Chair of Freestyle for Whitewater Ontario, andis an experienced program director and an SRT Instructor.  BRENDAN MARK
Brendan is a World Freestyle Champion (Squirt) and a leader in kayak instruction. Brendan has not finished below 2nd place in all competitions since his World Championship win and likes to share his knowledge in both river running and playboating. Brendan is the head of sales at Heliconia Press where he keeps his finger on the pulse of the outdoor world.
